symbolism in Revolution

A show that is called revolution shows much symbolism. In the show the people have to learn to survive in a post apocalyptic world where there is no power and the government created a way for nothing to work unless it is powered by the nano. The nano creates a mind of their own and starts taking control of the people it wants to. In the show if you don't agree with the terms that the militia (america) believes in then you will be prosecuted. To join the militia you have to get a brand of an M on your wrist and follow all orders which in n other words kill when told to. Symbolism is used different ways in television and I feel it is being used more in television shows and movies. People have all these ideas to use symbols to create a world ran by people who mostly want power.
